Petr Cígler - Daily Patterns

We all need to sleep, wake up, eat, make love. For many, these daily rituals are encoded in time patterns that resurface, sometimes unexpectedly, from the course of the day and influence our everyday needs and physiological responses. Daily Patterns were inspired by the course and the bustle of an ordinary day in the city and its biological happenings. They freely float among associations offered by the city and its people. The noise and the occasional rudeness of this environment at first spontaneously invaded the soft sounds of this piece. In the end they become placated and melt into a silent message of the night.
