Petr Wajsar

(*1978)

is a composer, a bass-guitar player and a singer. He studied with Prof. Václav Riedlbauch (Academy of Performing Arts in Prague), Prof. Stanislav Jelínek (Jaroslav Ježek Conservatoire, Prague) and Milan Svoboda (Prague Conservatoire). Apart from chamber music, (performed by, among others: the BERG Orchestra, Epoque Quartet, Hradec Králové Philharmonic) he also composes music for film, is a leader of the HI-FI group and a member of the vocal sextet Skety. He wrote music for the ballet Maryša, the musical Pornstars, a full-feature film My Undressed Diary and several film documentaries. He has just finished music for a TV film Iris rebels from a series Innocent Lies.
