Jan Trojan
(*1982)
studied composition at the Teplice Conservatoire and at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague where he finished his postgraduate studies with
a thesis "Acoustic Ecology and Soundscape". He took up two semesters of residency at the Universität der Künste in Berlin (2011–2012). He works as
music editor and sound designer at the Czech Radio and as tutor at the Faculty of Composition at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague,
specialising in electronic music. He also takes part in acoustic performances and co-founded experimental collective OEM ARTS. He is interested
in sounds, silence and the space in between them.
