In the past, music was regularly composed for the Prague Cathedral. At the initiative of Jana Maříková, Prague Castle's chief archaeologist, we decided to build on the historical musical legacy. On the occasion of the centenary of the Institute of Archaeology at the Prague Castle, new music for the cathedral was created. Unfortunately, due to the decision of the Prague Castle Administration, we have to move the event to a NEW PLACE - it will take place in the second largest sacral space in Prague, the Church of St. Cyril and Methodius in Karlín. In Matouš Hejl's spatial composition the singers and musicians will move around the church that thus becomes a unique music instrument, the sound will literally embrace the audience.
