In the past, music was regularly composed for the Prague Cathedral. At the initiative of Jana Maříková, Prague Castle's chief
archaeologist, we decided to build on the historical musical legacy. On the occasion of the centenary of the Institute of Archaeology
at the Prague Castle, new music for the cathedral was created. Matouš Hejl's spatial composition takes advantage of the specific acoustic
characteristics of this extraordinary spiritual space. The singers and musicians will move around the cathedral that thus becomes
a unique music instrument, the sound will literally embrace the audience.
