Inspiration by Japanese traditions and phenomena – shakuhachi flute, string instrument koto and famous silent film A Page of Madness (1926, dir. Teinosuke Kinugasa). New music written by Jonáš Starý, young Czech composer, will accompany part of it in world premiere. Czech premieres of works by Noriko Baba, Japanese composer living in France, and Toshio Hosowkawa, one of the most important Japanese composers of today.

This event is organized in collaboration with the International Shakuhachi Festival Prague.
